Ingredients
- 150g of flour 00
- 5g of baking powder
- 10g of fine granulated sugar
- 1 medium egg
- 15g of soft butter
- 1 pinch of fine salt
- 40g/45g of warm water
- 60g of fluid honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
- 1 liter of peanut oil for frying
Method
In the 5 liter bowl, weigh 150g of flour, 5g of yeast, a pinch of salt and 10g of sugar. Attach the K Beater. Add 1 whole egg and little by little 40g of warm water, (adjust for the exact quantity) mix at minimum speed until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Remove the dough and, on a work surface, form a ball. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
After the indicated time, form a cord, then with a tarot cut the 30g dough. Form uniform balls, and with a rolling pin, roll out thin discs of approximately 12 cm.
In a frying pan, heat 1 liter of peanut oil. Cook the Bunuelos on both sides until golden brown. Drain the Bunuelos on absorbent kitchen paper.
