Mince Pies with Kenwood
These traditional British pies are a festive must-have at Christmas. Fill with a dried fruit mixture, bake and serve with brandy butter.

Ingredients
- 75g Icing Sugar
- 100g Butter
- 200g All Purpose Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 100g Egg
- 400g Mince Pie Filling
- 1 Egg
Method
- Add icing sugar and butter to your Kenwood bowl.
- Blend together with the dough hook.
- Then add all purpose flour, salt and egg to the dough.
- Mix until mixture comes together.
- Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
- Divide into halves
- Wrap with plastic wrap
- Chill in fridge - approx 1 hr
- Pre-heat oven - 180°C
- Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
- Cut out into rounds
- Line a clean cupcake pan
- Pre-bake - 5 min, 180°C
- Spoon mince pie filling into the cupcake pan evenly
- Cover
- Brush with egg
- Bake until golden brown - 10 min, 180°C
- Serve
